Maintenance Team Lead - Military veterans preferred

Our client, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor  to join their team. As a Maintenance Supervisor , you will be part of the department supporting team.

Location: Crete, NE

What’s the Job?

• Supervise maintenance personnel in the execution of work orders and procurement of parts and materials, making decisions based on immediate information.
• Utilize SAP AMM maintenance management system proficiently for tasks including parts inventory lookup, work order status checking, maintenance plan review, and time entry.
• Ensure compliance with governmental legislated requirements such as EPA, FDA, and OSHA, and enforce Plant GMPs within the Maintenance Department.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of all assigned work, working closely with departments to minimize equipment downtime.
• Maintain maintenance shift report log and lead various types of meetings effectively.
• Fill in for Maintenance Scheduler and ensure hourly work requirements by designated zones.
• Perform all job duties in a safe manner, abiding by safety rules and policies, and actively participate in safety processes such as Behavior-Based Safety.
• Actively participate in Nestle Purina Programs and Initiatives including MQS, QMS, ROME, NCE, Shift Handover, Globe, etc.

What’s Needed?

• Experience: Must possess a working knowledge of proper electrical maintenance procedures, plumbing, rigging, and welding techniques. Three years of experience in industrial plant maintenance preferred, with two years of leadership experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Maintenance associated field preferred, or equivalent experience.
