We are searching for an experience mechanic who can work independently, use good judgement when making decisions, and takes ownership to ensure the work is completed.
In this role you will:
Be responsible for the repair and maintenance of fork trucks and manipulators
Maintain a neat and clean work area
Perform tire repairs on company vehicles
Adhere to all company and OSHA safety procedures
Safely abide by daily procedures and protocols in accordance with job training
Convey issues to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, Group Leaders, Safety/Environmental Manager, or Director of Human Resource, as appropriate.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics
Ability to operate overhead cranes, man lifts, backhoes, pipe threaders and forklifts.
Train entry level maintenance team members with a focus on safety.
Work autonomously with little to no supervision
Prior experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
