Maxar is seeking a Strategic Plans and Policies Analyst to perform a broad set of duties contributing to an existing and growing team on an exciting and challenging technical collection missions.  This position will support specialized communications programs and their associated infrastructure.

Project: The Strategic Plans and Policies Manager will work independently and as part of a cross-functional team comprised of technical experts supporting an established and growing Intelligence Community (IC) mission. Day-to-Day with your colleagues:

  • You will be a vital member of a multi-disciplined team. You will be embedded with government and Maxar staff, filling a critical function of their organization. Our customer runs a high-speed operational tempo, and you will be looked upon to provide expertise in support of their mission.
  • You will provide expert advise to the customer on strategic plans and policies impacting their mission, supporting polished and effective communications across their stakeholders.
  • You will integrate senior level correspondence, briefings, reports and papers for executive level audiences. You will create drafts for senior review.
  • You will plan, coordinate, review, and edit content of scientific, technical, and programmatic material.
  • You will coordinate with stakeholders from other functional components of the customer organization on projects to ensure well-informed analysis and products to support broader mission(s).
  • You will prepare briefings and products to communicate findings in clear and concise terms to military, IC partners, and other stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have current/active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to obtain CI polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts or Speech Communications (4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree).
  • 8+ years of professional, relevant experience supporting USG.
  • Excellent written and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience working on-site within DoD or IC.
  • Project Management certification.
  • Experience using Project Management software.
  • Senior level experience engaging and communicating with general officers, field grade officers, and civilian senior executive service officers.
  • Expert user in Microsoft Professional Software applications.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$99,000.00 - $165,000.00 annually.
