Position Summary?: The IT Associate working with the Security team will assist with IT related access management, compliance, and security requirements of a publicly traded company. IT Associate should understand basic business functions along with an IT background in network, application, and database functions.
THIS POSITION WILL BE PART TIME AND YEAR-ROUND - Candidate must have the ability to work approximately 15- 20 hours a week Monday -- Friday.
Responsibilities:
Learn and understand internal IT controls, the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk and learn remediation strategies
Assist with organizational Cybersecurity Training and Awareness Programs
Provide backup support for access management in business applications
Participate in Office 365 operational security controls
Participate in 3rd party vulnerability management remediation
Assist with requests from internal and external auditors
Assist with the change management process to ensure effectiveness
Assist with documenting IT Security governance and risk posture
Assist with IT Security policy and procedures documentation, review, and updates
Other duties as assigned

Currently pursuing a BS or BBA Information Systems or a related field. Prefer students that have completed their Sophomore year. Any relevant work experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills: Documentation, analytical and problem solving, interpersonal and communication, working as an individual contributor in a team environment, ability to multi-task and work effectively in a distributed environment; attention to detail and ability to consistently follow detailed procedures; work with confidential/personal information in a professional and secure manner.
