POSITION SUMMARY

Rental professional with some experience in related Construction and Forklift Rental industry to identify the specific needs of existing and potential customers. Provide solutions that ensure profitability through total customer satisfaction as defined by the customer

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Supervise rental coordinator(s), outside truckers and yard coordinator
  • Determine customer needs on a daily basis.
  • Take orders and produce rental contracts from (external and internal) customers and follow through to delivery.
  • Maintain accurate billing of all short term rental contracts
  • Dispatch delivery of rental, new / used equipment and customer service shop jobs.
  • Coordinate equipment movement among branches with other transportation/rental coordinators.
  • Problem solves or refer customer to someone who can meet their need.
  • Work with Service Operations to proper manage rental maintenance costs
  • Review and approve service work orders on rental equipment, cross-check that warranty is filed.
  • Maintain accurate records and files
  • Communicate essential information to customers, other departments and managers.
  • Monitor and communicate on market, utilization & trends in assigned region and competitor trends to management
  • Help establish competitive rental rates in assigned area.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and skills; Look for change in processes and seek new innovations in products and services.
  • Maintain acceptable personal and work area standards for safety, appearance, and equipment condition.
  • Assist General Manager in Building Maintenance
  • Uphold the company’s values and objectives


Qualifications:

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Related industry experience is preferred. Experience with scheduling and overseeing deliver/transportation personnel is preferred; industrial (and or construction) rental knowledge is also a plus
Computer Skills: General computer use, and Microsoft Office applications
Other Requirements: 10-20% travel to other branches
