Ascent Resources is seeking an entry level Accounting Assistant responsible for correct and timely coding of accounting invoices. This position is located in Oklahoma City, OK and will report to the Manager – Accounts Payable.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and code invoices to appropriate GL accounts
Communicate with vendor AR departments in order to facilitate effective work flows and accurate invoicing
Conduct account research and resolution
Perform re-class entries

Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
10-key proficient
Strong Outlook and Excel skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills with great attention to detail
Team builder, encourager, and collaborator
Overall flexibility to accomplish departmental goals
Willing and able to work overtime if needed
Education & Work Experience Required
Minimum Requirements:
In lieu of degree, 5 years of AP experience
Ambition to grow within the department
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree with 0-3 years of experience
