JOB SUMMARY: General job purpose is to provide strategic oversight, guidance and support with the analytical and financial planning projects for UOR Finance. This includes partnering and collaborating with various business operators including revenue operations, non-revenue operations, Marketing, BAIE, and IT delivering high quality customer service while influencing decisions and driving financial results. Additional aspect of job includes ensuring department deadlines are met and company policies are adhered to as well as identifying and streamlining Finance departmental process improvements. Candidate must participate in financial reviews with executive leadership. Job involves leading a team of multiple exempt positions and proficiency in SQL, VBA, and Excel is required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop ad hoc and new business programs analysis, ROI’s, and financial models utilizing sensitivity and scenario tools.
  • Manage, develop and lead finance staff by directing and prioritizing deliverables, providing performance feedback and coaching.
  • Perform in-depth analysis on actual financial performance extending findings to provide meaningful recommendations.
  • Oversee and develop key metric forecasts and financial pacing’s as well as provide budget support based on trends in the business/industry.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: High school degree or GED is required. Bachelor’s degree is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years, 3+ years supervisory experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
