Our work depends on Field Service Technician/Engineer joining our team to aid the Warfighter in an impactful mission this will require the Field Service Technician/Engineer to be able to set up, maintain and sustain various PM FPS systems to protect those supporting the Warfighter.

How you will make an impact to the mission as a Field Service Technician/Engineer:

  • As an IBD-SS Field Service Technician/Engineer one will perform maintenance, training, and work closely with military customers. An individual who has experience performing mechanical, electronics, and IT Networking tasks as well as skills performing installs, de-installs, testing systems and components, and performing Preventive Maintenance actions on a variety of systems belonging to the Elevated Sensors family of systems to include BETSS-C, Cerberus, RDISS, Radar, PTP radio, television, and other communications & surveillance equipment components. A strong background in IT networks and Network Security is preferred.
  • Performs operational checks, induction and return to service inspections, troubleshoot faults, remove and replace components, service generators, remove and replace fluids, make adjustments and alignments, use hand tools and electronic measuring devices such as AC/DC voltmeters and, ohms meters able to read, understand, and follow technical manuals, engineering documents, schematic diagrams, safety bulletins, and news flashes; be able to input data into databases and be able to retrieve data to perform maintenance or provide reports as requested
  • Capable of routine system maintenance and analysis functions including hardware configurations; adding, removing, and replacing hardware components; use of hardware and software diagnostic testing tools; reading of electronic circuit schematics; and repairing printed circuit boards and ability to perform minor maintenance on generators such as changing oil and filter and other duties as assigned related to scope of AOR (area of responsibility of an FSR/FST (Field Service Representative/Technician)
  • Performs sustainment and PMCS maintenance on the towers and payloads
  • Performs site surveys to determine type and placement of systems
  • Installs and de-installs systems and their components and trains operators and end users
  • Updates databases, informs lead of job status and any issues encountered and must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports
  • Tracks and updates work orders to include the replacement of parts component serial numbers removed and replaced, experience utilizing COLTS (or similar such as RCLS) and operating within the GCSS-A environment is strongly desired


What you will need to succeed:
  • BA/BS + 8-12 years relevant experience (15 years' experience in lieu of a degree)
  • US Secret Security Clearance Required
  • Must possess the required training and certifications in relation to BETSS-C/RAID Towers (BETTS-C Certificate)
  • Must be willing to support up to an 84-hour Extended Work Week or work week assigned to PDY or TDY work week based on mission requirements including travel within SWA as required
  • Must be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to the SWA of Operations and be able to withstand physical demands of seasonal hot or cold temperatures and willing to live and operate in an austere environment with the ability to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and may travels via military/commercial conveyances to outlying areas to support mission
  • Must be able to successfully be capable of meeting standards of fitness for deployment to the SWA of Operation yearly while residing on contract in SWA
  • Must have required PPE equipment required for SWA
  • Travel and PDY locations may include but not limited to boat, convoy etc.
  • Desired experience with other PM FPS systems such as IBD-K and NIIS
