JLL is seeking an HVAC Technician to join our team

This position has a strong focus on maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing facility equipment on all Mechanical Systems. Individuals are expected to demonstrate technical expertise in HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting and be multi-skilled in other areas (plumbing, electrical) in order to successfully complete daily / weekly work assignments.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning units, boilers, chillers, and ventilation systems.

  • Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC/R systems and associated equipment, electrical, distribution equipment, plumbing systems, building interior/exterior repair, and related grounds, and production equipment as it pertains to assigned buildings.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC issues to ensure timely and effective repairs.

  • Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment and systems to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions.

  • Maintain and repair lab HVAC systems and equipment.

  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation, repair, and replacement projects.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance history.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to continuously improve HVAC system performance.

  • Update work order status in real time 

  • Understanding of BMS system.

  • Performing modifications and updates of BMS systems and components.

  • Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo for all work performed.

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC Technician.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and components.

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Valid HVAC technician certification.

  • Experience working in a laboratory, bio, or pharmaceutical environment.

  • Experience in plumbing and knowledge of plumbing systems.

  • Experience with air filtration systems and environmental controls in controlled environments.
