Responsibilities – Collision Painter: 

 

  • Mask or tape off areas/components prior to paint application
  • Mix paints to match color specifications or vehicles' original colors
  • Paint vehicles with a high level of efficiency
  • Check for runs or sags in the paint to ensure a quality product
  • Ensure finished product adheres to factory and dealership procedures
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly workspace



Qualifications/Requirements – Collision Painter:

  • Two years of experience in a dealership position
  • ASE/I-CAR/Sherwin Williams certification preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • General knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Position requires stooping, bending and moving throughout the area
  • May lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills required
  • Must be focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
