Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular material, process, product and dock audits as identified and scheduled by the Quality Manager
  • Compiles and reviews shift quality data as part of the plant daily review or positive release process.
  • Lead internal audits and maintain audit schedule.
  • Identify and hold any suspect material.
  • Participate in 8D and PFMEA activities.
  • Analyze production and quality data as needed for problem solving or process improvement.
  • Support the SPC/SQCpack applications. Must be able to do basic system problem solving.
  • Provide training for associates in the application and use of the SOP’s, QAP’s, QWI’s, and CQP’s as directed.
  • Review and analyze HFI’s and HFI data.
  • Uphold and support the Company’s Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Maintaining Calibration log, validation of equipment.
  • Proficient with measuring instruments, calipers, micrometers, as well as various types of gauges.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience in Quality (Plastics Injection Molding Preferred)
  • Intermediate experience in MS Office is a must; Excel; PowerPoint; Word
  • Auditing experience with an industry standard system(ISO, QS, ISOTS, BRC,AIB) BRC preferred
  • Able to lift 35 pounds.
  • Project Management Skills
  • Ability to solve problems and make decisions on product quality.
  • Prefer high school graduate or GED.
  • Sufficient work experience to be successful on the job.
