In this role, you will demonstrate knowledge or experience in sensor/information fusion and/or model and simulation of flight and trajectory algorithms.

Day-to-day with your colleagues:

  • You will use your understanding of multi-INT data (MASINT, IMINT, OSINT, SIGINT and HUMINT) to support the creation of concise, insightful, comprehensive, and IC-coordinated intelligence products.

  • You will use your qualitative and quantitative skills to define new or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments.

  • You will adapt new algorithms into the workflow and provide validation and verification (V&V) to demonstrate improved capability.

  • You will perform data interpretation for better utilization of information during sensor fusion.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US citizenship and must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance and be willing and able to obtain a CI polygraph.

  • Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering with a focus on applied mathematics or physics.

  • 2 years of experience.

  • Kalman filtering experience and stochastic estimation and propagation.

  • General understanding of orbital mechanics and/or flight dynamics.

  • Experience programming in C++, MATLAB, and Simulink.

  • Comfortable working in a Unix/Linux environment and using Git for version control.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering with a focus on applied mathematics or physics with 2-5 years of experience -or- a PhD with 0-2 years of experience.

  • Experience with other estimation and analysis techniques such as Digital Filtering, Least Squares, or Monte Carlo analysis.

  • Experience or interest in Cloud Computing and associated technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

  • Significant current experience (within last 2 years) in multi-INT fusion training/techniques.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate’s unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:

$72,000.00 - $118,000.00 annually.
