Position Summary:
The Head of Organizational Development is responsible for planning, developing, and executing an innovative corporate organizational development & learning strategy and supporting programs to develop internal talent, drive organizational performance and enable sustainable future growth. This role plays a key role in the design and execution of the various programs and processes that support the organizational talent, learning & development strategy. This individual works closely with the business leaders and the P&C team to implement and continuously improve talent development to maximize the employee and leadership experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Employs a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
  • Owns new hire onboarding processes, trainings, and processes.
  • Drives culture strategy and development in support of the business and its leaders.
  • Deigns and progresses a comprehensive global strategy around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging.
  • Executes change management and talent strategy in support of engagement, retention, and development.
  • Identifies when existing training materials and programs need to be revised based on audit results, questionnaires, changing procedures and feedback from internal/ external customers, subject matter experts, program sponsors and trainers.
  • Initiates revisions and process improvements to materials and programs, as well as correlating policies and guidelines, as identified.
  • Leads the development of new training programs based on needs assessment and ensures that training status reports, assessments and evaluation tools are conducted for each program.
  • Partner with managers, trainers and colleagues to improve engagement and learning outcomes of their trainings and workshops.
Experience & Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field, Master’s in leadership, development, or related areas preferred.
  • 10+ years of work experience in a related field preferred Proficiency in data analysis tools, statistical methods, and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Certified Professional in Learning & Performance (CPLP) certification preferred or other certifications for coaching and/or mentoring.
  • PHR or SPHR preferred
  • Ability to engage with trainees in a collaborative learning environment, adapt quickly to different learning styles and experience levels, and provide structure in a workshop environment
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation and influencing skills
  • Effective change management strategies
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
