The Marketing Designer is primarily responsible for providing overall support to the Marketing team by coordinating, designing, and producing internal and external marketing communication materials, tradeshow displays, graphics, presentations, and correspondence to advance SLS’ strategic growth objectives, initiatives, and service offerings. This position requires work performed in a fast-paced team environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and produce company-branded brochures, project description sheets, proposal graphics, monthly newsletters, email campaigns, and other marketing and communication materials.
- Collaborate with key personnel and subject matter experts to gather content.
- Monitor company websites and perform quarterly reviews and updates.
- Create engaging social media content and maintain calendar schedules.
- Perform basic research and internet searches as needed.
- Ensure all marketing materials are high quality and adhere to branding guidelines.
- Assist in the maintenance of digital assets, including archives, shared files, and documents.
- Attend planning sessions.
- Perform related duties as required.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited University in Visual Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related program.
- 2+ years working in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Advanced level Adobe Creative Cloud skills including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and design skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in email marketing tools and cloud-based applications, including Constant Contact, Canva and Issuu.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
Physical Demands:
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity.
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands.
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying.
