We are on the lookout for a Senior Power BI Developer to enhance technical systems, conduct requirement analysis, and implement database improvements for enterprise-level clients. The role involves designing SQL data warehouse solutions, creating reports and dashboards using various tools, and optimizing SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for ETL processes.

This position is open to candidates located in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida, area.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Perform requirement analysis and review related to database enhancements for enterprise-level clients.
• Design and develop SQL data warehouse solutions for effective reporting and analysis using SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Tableau
• Develop reports/dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Tableau and MS Power BI
• Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to implement complex ETL processes.
• Design and develop API and data integration solutions using systems like Salesforce, SAP and other source applications using App Connect and SSIS
• Develop and create database objects such as schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Design SQL extracts to support SSIS packages to automate the data extraction and harmonization process.
• Create and maintain source-to-target mappings and implementation documents to support the ETL development process.
• Provide proofs of concept and technical guidance to development team
• Interact with different project teams to finalize the release scope for project delivery.
• Analyze and fix defects/issues reported in production environment during deployment and hyper care support.
• Develop technical enhancements, system documentation, and implement procedures for quality improvement.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field of study
• 5 years of experience designing and developing technical reporting solutions using various Business Intelligence tools and technologies including but not limited to Microsoft BI stack.
• 5 years of hands-on experience across all stages of BI life cycle including system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, post-production support, maintenance, documentation, and end-user training
• Proficiency in creating different reports, such as tabular reports, matrix reports, drill-down, crosstab reports, ad-hoc reports, summary reports, list reports and distributed reports in multiple formats using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Experience creating complex ETL packages using SSIS.
• Experience developing SQL stored procedures.
• Experience creating complex BI reports and dashboards using MS Power BI, Tableau, SAP HANA preferred.
• Proven understanding of business processes and related IT needs necessary to develop end-to-end solutions.
• Strong statistical analysis and forecasting skills required, with the proven ability to use data to solve complex business problems.
• Ability to follow development standards for enterprise data warehouses and application databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to thoroughly gather requirements, prepare reports and specifications, make recommendations, and effectively work with internal and external teams.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $77,200 - $213,800.
