Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop CNC Programs and manufacturing processes for new and legacy 5 axis, mill-turn, and/or Swiss lathe parts.
- Utilize best programming practices to create efficient and reliable CNC programs
- Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings for custom tooling, work holding, and fixtures using SolidWorks or similar.
- Program parts and fixtures using CAM software such as GibbsCAM, Fusion360 etc.
- Use machine simulation software to ensure collision free code.
- Aid in quoting new work, including design for manufacturability feedback to customers.
- Set up and run CNC mills and lathes as needed to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts.
- Communicate and resolve issues with machinists.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas on new and legacy parts.

- Experience with GD&T and knowledge of complex inspection techniques is required (CMM, Vision System, etc.)

Education and/or Experience: - Have a minimum of 1-year CNC Programming experience --- OR --- 3 years CNC experience
combined with excellent computer skills.
- Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing is preferred
