About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Piping Designer to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to complex projects through advanced piping design and modeling. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the development and execution of piping designs, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead 3D modeling efforts for piping and equipment within a 3D model environment. Produce detailed drawings and documents for General Arrangements and piping isometrics. Coordinate 3D model activities, including input, interference reconciliation, with related disciplines. Collaborate with engineering teams, including stress and pipe support engineers, to optimize piping designs. Maintain and uphold design procedures and standards, ensuring all designs meet quality requirements. Engage with construction teams and suppliers to facilitate the integration of piping designs. Requirements: Proficient in 3D piping design platforms and isometric extraction programs. Deep understanding of piping codes such as ASME B31.1 and B31.3. AA/AS/Certificate with 11 years of related design experience, or 15 years of related design experience without a degree. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug tests, physicals (if required), and background checks. Must obtain clearance for DOE site access. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Bentley PlantSpace Design Series or similar for piping design. Prior experience on government projects, particularly within the Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD), is highly desirable.
