Job Description
Grace Tyrone is looking for a full time Quality Control Technician. This position is located in Tyrone PA and is a full time/rotating shift position. The position will be responsible for Sets up laboratory equipment and instrumentation required for tests, research, and/or process control.
Responsibilities
Prepares chemical solutions for use in processing materials.
Physical Requirements and Environment
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a laboratory environment with highly hazardous materials
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standards working in a pilot plant facility with highly hazardous materials
- Ability to work in a high hazard environment, including adverse weather conditions, elevated spaces, confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and noisy surroundings.
- Must be willing to wear PPE (Personal Protective equipment) including but not limited to hard hat, protective eyewear, steel-toed boots, hearing protection, Level A suit, full face respirator
Required QualificationsBS in chemistry/related field or degree in chemical technology from a technical institute.
Preferred Qualifications2 years of experience in analytical laboratory.
Starting wage $29.92/hr
