Description

Summary:

A professional who assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates information and select processes including contract management and coordination, property, professional and paraprofessional insurance, and regulatory licensure processes. Associate collaborates with senior leaders, department managers, physicians, and front-line staff to effect change for improvement. The associate can meet individual needs using communications, software, and available resources to promote accurate, cost-effective customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
  • Organizes, coordinates, and maintains the contracts management processes for all regional and physician contracts.
  • Inputs and maintains contract databases, including electronic and paper files.
  • Oversees the contracting process from letters of intent to executed agreements ensuring the established contracting process is followed, while assuring compliance with policies/procedures. Tracks contracts through negotiation, approval, distribution, and execution.
  • Serves as the liaison with CHRISTUS Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, Supply Chain, and other CHRISTUS corporate departments on matters involving contract language, negotiation, and execution.
  • Develops and maintains tracking logs to monitor the receipt and processing of contracts.
  • Ensures contractual insurance requirements are met and assists with proof of insurance requests.
  • Develops sound processes to assure contract compliance with HIPAA, BAA, Federal and State funding, and regulatory requirements as well as disadvantaged enterprises and CHRISTUS contract policies, procedures guidelines, and management directives.
  • Coordinates property, professional, and paraprofessional insurance annual renewal processes.
  • Collaborates with senior leaders to effectively manage special projects as necessary.
  • Manages hospital licensure processes and renewals.
  • Maintains reports/licenses from Advice, the city, the state, etc. for any projects on or off our campus.
  • Provides executive support for hospital executives as assigned and provide backup administrative support for other executives as requested.
  • Orders supplies for the administration office and other departments using INFOR.
  • Manages new vendor requests, I. E., physicians, using Infor.
  • Ability to interact with multiple layers of the organization while maintaining confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • High school degree preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare field a plus.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and various web-based programs.

Work Schedule:

8AM - 5PM Monday-Friday
