Haven Behavioral Hospital of Philadelphia provides inpatient psychiatric stabilization and treatment to adults and older adults experiencing acute symptoms of depression, anxiety, mood swings or psychosis. Services are provided by psychiatrists, nurses, therapists and other professional staff who are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our patients. 

The admissions department works with the interdisciplinary team to build relationships with referral sources, monitor the census for the hospital, review and complete clinical presentations with the physician, interface with insurance companies to complete authorization for treatment.  This is a fast paced position that requires excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills. 

POSITION SUMMARY

  •  Receives and responds to call inquiries for potential admissions and generalized questions.
  • Obtains the required information to facilitate admissions.
  • Makes referrals for persons who are not appropriate for admission.
  • Full-time, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.

EDUCATION
Bachelors Degree required.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
CPI/CPR per policy. Current licensure or certification, preferred, by discipline.

EXPERIENCE
Experience with crisis management or intake preferred.
