Position Description
Accurately estimate the cost, time, material, labor, and equipment of mechanical systems
Review bid documents and proposal specifications and drawings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
Attend pre-bid meetings
Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work
Review design options and recommend best solution based on cost, engineering quality, or availability of materials as needed.
Position Requirements
Excellent communication, organization, time management, and prioritization skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a dynamic and high-pressure environment
Maintain strict confidentiality in performance of all duties
Must be able to work cooperatively and maintain a positive and professional manner
Strong understanding of mechanical systems
Advanced computer and math skills
Must be team-oriented, cost-conscious, and customer-driven
