We are looking for an NC Programmer to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings Operations team in Muscatine, Iowa. We are looking for the following;
- Problem-solving abilities, continuous improvement mindset and effective communication
- Team oriented with a desire to contribute to the success of manufacturing operations
- Hands-on work with machines; setup, work on design problems, read internal prints
- Consistent, flawless execution of New Product Introduction, Product Changes and Special
- Create, update and improve machine programs
- Implement laser cutting and forming process that connects product engineering and operations to improve PPAP pass rate
- Partner with group leaders to understand labor expectations and vision for the area
- Root cause and correct machine program issues
- Review machine capacities and balance work to reduce operator overtime
- Program specials in an accurate and timely manner, understanding correct flow for units
- Finalize schedules for next days run (inspection of parts run)
What you have:
- High School Diploma
- Basic PC software skills
- Ability to work 2nd shift on a 4/10 schedule (Monday -Thursday 2:45pm-1:15am)
