Student Services Coordinator
The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a Student Services Coordinator for the Katz School of Business.
The Student Services Coordinator for the Graduate Programs Office plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of the various functions within the office, with particular emphasis on event planning and financial administrative work.
The successful candidate should be skilled in event planning (scheduling, communication, planning, etc.) as some of the major responsibilities include special event planning for various student activities, student club events, programs, and celebrations throughout the school year. The Student Services Coordinator often works in conjunction with outside vendors; the ability to successfully communicate and negotiate is essential. The Student Services Coordinator is student-facing and will need to be able to effectively communicate with the graduate population and address student needs and issues.
Executes the daily activities for an assigned program area, section, or special interest group. Manages administrative tasks and logistics. Conceives and implements co-curricular programs to include budgetary preparations and evaluations.
Coordination of event planning logistics for the Graduate Programs Office. Processing of financial documents and monitoring of accounts and budgets.
The incumbent may be required to lift packages or boxes in excess of 15 pounds at times. May also travel around campus for deliveries and such.
