ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Report to the Mission Element Supervisor in USAFA Cadet Support Services.

• Receive both written and verbal instructions from the assigned supervisor or facility manager.

• Will at times provide assistance in multiple areas within Cadet Support Services.

• Responsible for general task execution of event set-up and tear-down and monitoring of facilities.

• Ensure work assignments are complete as required by the supervisor or facility manager.

• Confirm proper quality of work with the supervisor, facility manager, or event contact.

• Replace ceiling tile and lights as needed.

• Conduct cleaning and general housekeeping duties in the performance of normal activities associated with event set-up and tear-down.

• Work closely with USAFA faculty, staff, and coaches in support of set up and teardown of cadet activities; always polite.

• Uniform compliance and excellent customer service skills are critical in task execution as cadet support is a key part of the success of each event scheduled.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License.

• Able to receive and maintain a favorable Local Background Check (LBC) and National Agency Check (NAC) as applicable to position requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working set up and teardown of large events, familiarity operating with tools and with the use of lifts.
