Position Description:

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for an Adjunct Faculty position in Environmental Engineering. We seek candidates with fundamental expertise and research interests in one or more of the following areas: membrane processes, carbon capture and sequestration, separations and purification, and nanoporous materials. The adjunct faculty member will have the opportunity to collaborate with CEE faculty members and co-mentor graduate students on research projects, including but not limited to membrane purification of industrial wastewater, integrated bio-membrane processes for CO2 capture, and resource recovery from wastewater.

Minimum Quantifications Required for this position: an earned doctorate in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or a closely related field

Salary: This is not a compensated position.
