-Salary from $80,000.00 per year for Physical Therapists/From $55,000 for Physical Therapy Assistants

Responsibilities for Physical Therapist:

  • Perform initial evaluations and assessments of patients' conditions to determine appropriate treatment plans
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
  • Use a variety of techniques, including exercise, stretching, and manual therapy, to help patients improve their strength, mobility, and range of motion
  • Monitor and track patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions and how to prevent further injuries

Qualifications for Physical Therapist:

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state license to practice Physical Therapy
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities for Physical Therapy Assistant:

  • Assist physical therapists with initial evaluations and assessments of patients' conditions
  • Implement treatment plans for patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist
  • Use various techniques, including exercise, stretching, and manual therapy, to help patients improve their strength, mobility, and range of motion
  • Monitor and track patients' progress and report any concerns or changes to the supervising physical therapist
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as documenting patient progress and updating treatment plans

Qualifications for Physical Therapy Assistant:

  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active state license to practice Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
