ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are currently searching for a Sales Enablement Director (SED) to join our Sales team. Your primary focus will be to empower customer-facing teams, particularly Account Executives (AEs), Account Managers (AMs), and Education Consultants (ECs), to execute their responsibilities more effectively, thereby enhancing revenue performance. Focused on onboarding, continuous improvement, and optimizing sales systems, the SEM ensures the seamless functioning of sales operations aligned with Reading Horizons' objectives. Youll love coming to work every day if you get, want, and have the capacity to do the following:
1) Onboarding:
Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new AEs, encompassing company overview, product training, standard pitch, and familiarization with systems and processes.
Provide ongoing support and mentorship to newly onboarded AEs, ensuring their smooth integration into the sales team and maximizing their effectiveness from day one.
2) Ongoing Development:
Collaborate with sales leaders to review performance metrics, conversion rates, and sales activities, identifying areas for improvement.
Develop and implement training programs and resources to address identified gaps and support continuous learning and development among sales team members.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor strategies, and changes in the market landscape, incorporating insights into ongoing training and improvement initiatives.
3) Sales Process Improvement:
Lead initiatives to optimize sales processes and workflows to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, continuously evaluating and refining strategies to create an environment conducive to sales success.
Assess the effectiveness of the Sales Tech stack in supporting sales activities, identifying areas for improvement or potential integration of new tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Foster close collaboration and alignment between Sales and Marketing teams, working towards shared goals and objectives to maximize revenue generation and drive business growth.

Improvements in sales performance metrics such as win rates, average deal size, and sales cycle length, indicative of the impact of ongoing continuous improvement efforts.
Identification and initial remediation of key performance gaps through targeted training and development initiatives, leading to measurable improvements in individual and team performance metrics.

Requirements
Education, Skills, Experience
Bachelors Degree in Professional Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration or equivalent quota-carrying sales experience is strongly preferred.
4+ years experience in sales, sales enablement, training and/or onboarding
Experience traveling to and working at tradeshows and conferences is preferred.
Experience creating and hosting customer events - dinners, luncheons, conferences.
Travel Required
Some overnight travel is required, up to 25%.
