Job Title: Fabricator / Technician

Location: Des Plaines, Il

Pay Range: $21-$26/hr

 

What’s the Job?

• Build/assemble/operate equipment and test stands under supervision of project managers
• Identify and operate routine startup and shutdown building functions, heating, water, ventilation, instrument air, nitrogen system
• Operate and maintain project support equipment such as compressors, chillers, pumps, and analyzers.
• Calibrate and maintain site safety equipment including gas/flame detectors and safety relief valves
• Minor electrical tasks including instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting

 

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma required
• 0 - 2+ years of relevant work experience with an associate degree or 2 - 4+ years of experience with a high school diploma
• Experience with compressors, chillers, and pumps including general maintenance and repairs
• Experience with general fabrication
• Experience with structural welding a plus
