Responsibilities include cleaning areas of the building and grounds. This position is responsible for ensuring all cleaning follows SQF/Food Safety and HACCP guidelines throughout the process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:TRAIN, MENTOR, AND ASSIST SANITATION TECHNICIANS IN ALL ASPECTS OF THEIR DUTIESFILL IN AS LEADER IN THE ABSENCE OF THE SANITATION MANAGERHAND OUT WORK ASSIGNMENTS AND ENSURE THE PROPER COMPLETION OF THOSE DUTIESASSIST WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SWABBING AND RECORD-KEEPINGCLEAN ALL AREAS OF THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS FOLLOWING THE PROPER PROCEDURESENSURE ALL CLEANING IS BY SQF/FOOD SAFETY AND HACCP GUIDELINESCOMPLETE ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK ACCURATELY AND PROMPTLYFOLLOW ALL GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES (GMPS) AT ALL TIMESSAFELY OPERATE ALL SANITATION EQUIPMENT AS TRAINEDPERFORM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE ON SANITATION EQUIPMENT AS NEEDEDEFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATE WITH THE SANITATION MANAGER ANY ISSUES OR CONCERNS IN A TIMELY MANNERASSEMBLE AND DISASSEMBLE EQUIPMENT IN A SAFE MANNERCOMMUNICATE SAFETY ISSUES TO THE MANAGER OF THE SUPERVISOR ON DUTY AS THEY ARISECOMMUNICATE WITH ALL DEPARTMENTS AS NEEDEDMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSHS DEGREE/GED OR EQUIVALENT WORK EXPERIENCE5 YEARS OF CLEANING EXPERIENCE, PREFERABLY IN A FOOD MANUFACTURING SETTINGABILITY TO READ AND COMPREHEND PROCEDURES, WORK ORDERS, SAFETY DATA SHEETS, AND OTHER TRAINING MATERIALS RELATED TO FOOD MANUFACTURING AND SAFETYBASIC KNOWLEDGE AND OPERATION OF CLEANING EQUIPMENT LISTED UNDER THE EQUIPMENT USED SECTIONBASIC MECHANICAL APTITUDE, INCLUDING THE ABILITY TO DISASSEMBLE AND REASSEMBLE EQUIPMENT AND PERFORM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE AS NEEDEDRequirementsABILITY TO MOVE FROM ONE TASK TO THE NEXT AND BACK AS NEEDED WITH MINIMAL DOWNTIME AND SUPERVISIONABILITY TO FILL OUT REQUIRED PAPERWORK WITH DETAILED NOTES AND COMMUNICATIONABILITY TO VERBALLY COMMUNICATE ISSUES, CONCERNS, AND NEEDS AS NEEDEDABILITY TO WORK IN VARYING HOT AND COLD CONDITIONSBASIC COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE.
