About the Role:

We currently have an opening at our Foothill Ranch, CA (Orange County) for a

Sales & Proposal Engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Develop and deliver compelling technical proposals for energy storage, power conversion systems, and EVSE in response to RFPs, RFIs, and other requests for information. Collaborate with the commercial team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions. Work closely with engineering and product management teams to ensure technical accuracy and completeness of proposals. Assess the financial viability of proposed projects, performing financial analysis and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate their economic feasibility for different use cases. Conduct product presentations and communicate with clients to gather requirements, propose customized solutions, and address any concerns or questions. Contribute to the development of the company's overall sales strategy for energy storage and power conversion systems. Maintain ongoing relationships with clients and internal teams to provide technical support during the implementation phase. Stay informed about the latest developments in energy storage, power conversion systems, and EVSE industry regulations and standards, and competitor offerings. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proposals meet customer requirements and align with the company's capabilities.

Required Education &

Experience

: Bachelor's degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, or a related field. 5 + years proven experience in the electrification sector (BESS, PV, EV, EVSE, and others). Strong knowledge of the renewable and energy storage market landscape, policies, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients. Proficient in knowledge of Microsoft suite, and CRM systems. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
