Excellence.Our Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) performs the following duties to support Edgerton Hospital:Provides specialized occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision and direction of the Occupational Therapist. Works closely with other rehab staff along with various hospital departments to assure the delivery of quality patient care. Education of patient's family and other health care team members is provided by the COTA, incorporating health maintenance, disease process, and discharge planning. RequirementsCurrent licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Wisconsin, or eligibility and evidence of application for licensure.Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)Membership in professional group or organization is encouraged.BLS prior to independent patient care
