Position Summary:
The Assembly Mechanic is responsible for following procedures for
product assembly, fabrication, equipment operation and safety requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Use a variety of tools and equipment to assemble product according to required specifications and procedures. This includes drilling, edge fill, bonding, mechanical fasteners and fiberglass prepreg,
* Responsible for the quality of the product.
* Responsible for tool accountability and maintenance within the Assemble area.
* Responsible for keeping the work area clean and safe.
* Very minimal guidance required to accomplish tasks.
* Any other duties assigned by a lead and/or Senior Assembly Mechanic.

Annual Salary USD $41,600 - $56,000 (Levels 1-3)

Candidate skills & requirements

Knowledge/Experience
* High School education or GED.
* Typically 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably related to aircraft.
* An FAA A&P certificate is desirable but not required.

Skills/Abilities
* Ability to communicate orally with others
* Troubleshooting/problem solving
* Ability to prioritize, multi-task effectively, and work under pressure
* Able to perform basic mathematic calculations
* Understanding of customer's expectations
* Understand drawings, specification and follow written procedures.

Working Conditions:
* Manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements:
* Some bending, climbing, grasping and lifting.
* Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.
* Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for safe conduct on the manufacturing floor and to meet job responsibilities.
