Description:
The Processing Technical Capability Professional will support the Technical Capability development for the start up of our new plant in Lubbock, TX. This role will be responsible for building, validating and implementing processing standard work, work instructions and classroom and elearning documentation as needed. Additionally, this role will be a key support for the plant start up by providing on the job training through commissioning, and start up of new operators. This is a hands-on role that achieves results through both individual contribution and partnership with others. The incumbent will need to demonstrate proficiency in the areas of collaboration, influencing without authority, technical writing, project management, instructional design, and change management.
Technical Documentation
Partners with plant leadership and technical resources to understand and gain alignment on Standard Work and Work Instructions.
Owns the development of Standard Work and Work Instructions for assigned processes according to agreed upon project plan.
For assigned areas, ensures alignment of TSOP information with Standard Work and Work Instructions.
Partners with Manager, Technical Capability to develop a consistent best method to use Standard Work and Work Instructions to train a new operator.
Partners with Sr Technical Capability Analyst in identifying and gaining alignment on standard curriculum for Production Division.
Leadership
Responsible for creating an environment that fosters trust and teamwork.

On-The-Job Training
Provide on the job training of standard work and work instruction to new operators
Support other on the job trainers in best practices related to on-the-job training requirements and expectations
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Learning and Development or another correlated field
At least 5 years’ experience in a learning-related discipline, preferably in manufacturing
