Your Job Responsibilities:


  • Payroll processing and related tasks (coordinates with payroll manager).
  • Accounts Payable full-cycle process; reviewing and approving the GL entries from the A/P Specialist, and processing payments for invoices and expense reports.
  • Streamline processing of invoices, expense reports, and financial documents for accuracy and punctuality.
  • Purchase Orders: generate, track, and report; coordinate with Senior Accountant for Fixed Asset Tracking and Depreciation Reconciliation
  • 1099 preparation, audit, and YE review; manage vendor setup.
  • Generate and analyze utilization reporting of billable employees for senior management.
  • Corporate registrations; review and file renewals processed by Registered Agent.
  • Sales and Use Tax for Denver/Colorado and Phoenix/Arizona.
  • Organizing, scanning, and filing corporate documents and financial information.
  • Assist with month-end closing process.
  • Investigate reconciling items or discrepancies. Contact the appropriate individuals to gather information in order to propose and implement solutions.
  • Perform compliance duties.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 tools including Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
  • This position is cross trained with other members of the accounting team to provide back-up and assistance as needed.
  • Provides support on special requests and ad-hoc projects as necessary.


Requirements:


Your Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or related business field)
  • 2 years of relevant basic accounting experience
  • Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.


Salary range of $62,000-$71,000 and will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant.
