Job Title: Senior Director's Activity Group Manager

Job Description:

Seeking a highly skilled, and seasoned program manager to support the F-16 FMS Senior Materiel Leader (SML). Shall report directly to the F-16 Senior Materiel Leader and liaise with her staff within the F-16's program offices. Candidate must have deep understanding and experience in MS Office Suite applications, DoD acquisition policies, processes, and procedures. Prior military officer experience as an executive officer or prior senior-level civilian staffing experience within AFLCMC or higher headquarters is highly desired.

Candidate shall work closely with administrative, programmatic and technical staff at all levels within the F-16 and Fighter/Bomber organization to ensure every work product presented to/by the SML is of the highest quality in both content and format. All documents and correspondence shall be IAW USAF standards and complies with Fighter and Advanced Aircraft requirements.

Candidate must have prior experience and acumen to be able to work with large groups of people to develop, execute and facilitate program reviews involving various levels of command including, but not limited to, the F-16 Combined Program Management Review (CPMR) for USAF, FMS country teams, and the F-16 Integrated Program Management Review (IPMR) for USAF wide participants. Highly desire a candidate who has the knowledge, skills and experience of the proper protocols that must be followed in business and social settings when interacting with FMS host nations and their representatives.

Candidate will need to provide integration, communication, coordination, organizational and planning expertise to brief SML on various technical and acquisition efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines in order to effectively assist Air Force programs to deliver and sustain Air Force warfighting capabilities.

Shall be experienced in managing the coordination activities associated with responding to all inquiries from higher HQ, including preparing draft responses for the F-16 SML's approval and provide recommendations for disposition and closure of suspenses and taskings to F-16 senior leadership/

Shall be capable of organizing and executing meetings to include status of all supsenses and taskings to F-16 senior leadership. Shall be able to function as a communications liaison and integration project lead between F-16 Division organizational elements at HAFB and WPAFB ensuring full coordination is achieved.

Shall have experience and the ability to facilitate weekly meetings regardless of what forum that is required (virtual, teleconference, in-person). The Contractor shall assist to ensure that program operational and business issues are receiving proper visibility and actions are staffed to provide optimum force structure to meet program requirements.

Shall have experience to assist in studies and analysis efforts, including gathering, analyzing and evaluating information required by the F-16 SML, her deputy, and all stakeholders.

Shall provide program management support to the FMS SML and assist key members of the response teams responding to high priority Command inquiries and taskers. This support will require adjustments to your schedule with a response teams are operating.

Shall assist to provide support to perform tasks as necessary to support management operations functions. These tasks shall include answer phones, schedule telecoms and Video Teleconference (VTC), prepare organizational charts, enter data, integrate information into required reports, generate and maintain training requirements, files, forms and established file plans, process mail (receive, sign for, and distribute mail, both classified and unclassified, and access, store, and handle classified material), process and prepare correspondence (both classified and unclassified) and manage and operate fax equipment. Draft and coordinate both internal and external briefings and reports. Shall file and retrieve all data and graphics materials to facilitate research and expedite creation of briefings and reports, compile and prepare briefings and reports in both electronic and hard copy to use for special and/or recurring reports and provide assistance during briefing.

When called upon, must be able to provide program management support to the F-16 SML, her DAG Chief, and Front Office Group (FOG) acting as a key member of response teams responding to high priority Pentagon and Command inquiries and taskers. The Contractor shall assist to collect, process and prepare analysis of metrics in response to taskings received from internal and higher level management sources. The Contractor shall assist to handle Secure Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) communications to ensure that cognizant parties are informed, appropriate responses are prepared, coordinated and communicated while maintaining the appropriate security disciplines.

Required Skills/Education:

Must have at least 10 years of DoD acquisition experience and a degree in a relevant field of education. Ideally, seeking someone with 15 years of experience and a master's degree. This position will require good working knowledge of a fighter system's program office, FMS acquisition policies and procedures as well as how a Front Office Group should operate. Must have the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of functional leads to quickly and accurately assist the FMS SML. Duties will vary, therefore, candidate must be resourceful, flexible and able to execute a wide variety of tasks with a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail. Will require excellent written and communication skills as well as the ability to telework successfully. This position requires on-site support. Travel shall be required as well as an adjusted work schedule.
