SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Systems Engineer - Training Systems.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

The SystemsEngineer is responsible for updating and maintaining computer systems andnetworks with software and security patches and evaluating applicationimpact. The target systems include LinuxRed Hat/CentOS and Windows systems hosted within Kernel-based Virtual Machine(KVM) environment. The engineer willmaintain the network architecture including Cisco Virtual Lan’s. The engineerwill automate the process to patch client machines after evaluating and testingthe impact of security patches. The engineer will identify hardware andsoftware faults and develop corrections. Theengineer will have minor responsibilities with developing and maintaining anILS Package for the team. Package includes but is not limited to Hardware &Software Inventory, Installation Procedures, etc.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline and 0 years of experience needed.

Experience: Security + Certification Required. Candidate should have extensive operating system knowledge for configuring and administering systems, the ability to develop procedures, experience managing Virtual Machines, the ability to configure and deploy network services, strong team interaction capability supporting developers, cyber security managers and project leads.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) criteria.
  • Knowledge of Container technology and Kubernetes Orchestrator.
  • Additional Operating System Certifications (Microsoft, Red Hat, Networking, Hardware).
  • Strong in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Change Management applications (IBM ClearCase / Git / Gitlab).

As a requirement of employment, all SEACORP employees must hold U.S. Citizenship

Travel: 10%

Clearance: Secret

Work Environment & Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, extended periods of time using a mouse and keyboard and viewing computer screens. Infrequent lifting of <40lbs. Movement between points within the same office or between buildings. Work is performed in generally consistent environmental conditions with some seasonality for temperature differences and lighting.
