(SBG), a DSS, Inc. company, offers Systems Engineering, Enterprise Modernization, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and IT Governance innovation to Federal and commercial clients nationwide. We are looking for an Cybersecurity Chief Architect (Part time) to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard working with the ability to excel in a challenging, fast-paced government contractor environment. The position location is near Washington, DC in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon award.

Overview

Support clients with data protection, IoT, and overarching cloud capabilities. Implement core and cloud infrastructure security to manage risks and exposure. Perform cyber reconnaissance to illuminate a potential attack surface area. Provide threat and vulnerability management to federal clients and teams. Analyze tactical network architectures and topologies to assess security risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Lead Security Architect responsible for the planning, development, enhancement, and implementation of Cyber Security Tools for the client network environment.
  • Provide direction and guidance in the overall security architecture design, gathering of tool requirements, selection and evaluation of security tools, and the development of implementation plans and roadmaps.
  • Oversee the integration with other existing client toolsets. The team Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future Must be able to obtain and maintain the clearance for this role if required
  • Experience using cyber reconnaissance to support a federal client
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience utilizing software asset management Familiar with planning, developing, enhancing, and implementing Cyber Security tools for a network environment.
  • Experience with overall security architecture design, gathering of tool requirements, selection and evaluation of security tools, and the development of implementation plans and roadmaps.
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience Previous Security Operations Center experience
  • Experience in mobile and endpoint security Certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP)
  • Experience with the CISCO family of Cyber tools (ICE, StealthWatch, WSA, ESA) and experience with security architecture planning and implementation.
  • Familiar with tool requirement gathering, selection, and implementation to enhance current and future capabilities.
  • Familiar with Cloud architectures and implementations, conducting Gap analysis, establishing roadmaps and Zero Trust Architecture planning and implementation.
  • Travel up to 5%
  • Active Top Secret Clearance required.
