Job Summary:The Sales Engineer is responsible for business development and support of existing customers. The position works closely with clients to determine their needs, explains the use and value of QCT solutions/products.

Job DescriptionDevelop and maintain long-term relationships with customers while managing and interpreting their requirements.Conduct QCT solution demonstrations.Provide hands-on presale consulting and support during trials and proof-of-concepts.Support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.Create High-Level/Low-Level system architect designs of the QCT solutions into existing and prospective customer environments.Assist in the response of RFPs and RFI’s.Deliver QCT product and solution presentations to existing and prospective customers.

QualificationsMinimum of 2-year related experience or equivalent.Bachelor’s degree in technical field, Engineering degrees preferred.Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.Strong background in configuration, operation and administration for Linux distributions.This position requires regular travel within North America and sometimes Europe/Asia. Willing to travel up to 20% nationwide is a requirement.

Preferred QualificationFamiliarity with network virtualization as well as Public, Private and Edge cloud solutions.Develop solutions suited to large datacenter, HPC and enterprise environments.Technical understanding within technology domain areas such as - cloud infrastructure, AI/ML, Kubernetes, Containers, Virtualization, IoT, HPC.Strong working knowledge of 3GPP 5G RAN architectures.
