The Master Planner will report to the Sr. Manager, Production Planning and Control. The primary responsibilities are the delivery of the Supply Plan, and the alignment, development, and coordination of the 18-24 month global Master Supply Plan for the assigned product families. The scope may include multiple locations. This role works closely with and provide functional and business guidance to the master schedulers at the locations in scope to ensure that the weekly schedules in the 0-3 month time planning horizon are valid. The Master Planner actively participates in the operations of the business and supports decision making with information and analyses.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and analyzes demand, on-hand inventories and capacities to continually design attainable supply plans and drive to 100 +/-10% aggregate supply to plan attainment.

• Develops Resource Requirements Plans for the product families in scope. Supports preparation for the monthly Supply Review with data and information.

• Champions the use of the ERP system as the primary tool to plan and schedule production.

• Collaborates with Operations and Customer Service to confirm planned delivery dates for sales orders.

• Maintains updated master data elements and assumptions related to supply planning.

• Actively communicates with leadership to identify challenges and opportunities related to the attainment of the master supply plans. Manages capacities in a way that supports the agreed upon business and customer priorities. Closely interacts with other functions to expedite critical orders as needed.

• Generates reports to provide visibility of the production orders status and track performance.

• Identifies optimization opportunities via analysis of current processes / procedures including materials requirements planning, scheduling methods, production capabilities, transactional and reporting capabilities and other related topics.

• Works with Manufacturing to align inventory with production requirements.

• Manages material requirements from consignment programs at transactional level (supplier & customer).

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor degree required, preferably in supply chain

• Experience: 2 years of relevant experience

• Prior key user experience of an ERP system, preferably SAP/HANA. Skills Proficiency of MS Office Tools.

• Certifications: APICS CPIM and/or CSCP preferred.

• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Ability to travel as required (<25%).
