Background Loch Harbour Group is seeking a Field Artillery Captain’s Career Course (CCC) Instructor. This program requires instructor personnel with the skills and knowledge to instruct and prepare Field Artillery Officers for future assignments by providing qualified FA Leaders for key and developmental assignments and U.S. Army Contingency Operations. Applicants must be US citizens. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to potential classified information. Primary Instructor Tasks: The Instructor shall follow all approved CCC and supporting course Programs of Instruction (POI) and prepare to teach to standard the contents of each lesson plan subject. Instructor shall make modifications to adapt material to the needs of the class. The Instructor shall administer examinations, evaluate test results, correlate test results with the student ability and provide recommendations to the COR on changes and student status. The COR will approve all changes prior to implementation. The Instructor will receive briefs on Military Decision Making Process (MDMP). Instructor shall maintain classes in Blackboard (online classroom). Instructor shall grant access to students, monitor activity regularly, answer questions or resolve problems students may have with system or assignments/tests. Students are required to submit papers as part of the course requirements, Instructor shall use established to grade papers submitted. The Instructor shall provide instruction to US and foreign military students. The course is held a minimum of four (4) times per year. The Instructor shall schedule Subject Matter Experts (SME) guest lecturers to provide instruction and teach the portions not covered by the SME. The Government will coordinate for the Instructor all facilities, classrooms and schedules. The Instructor shall verify with the COR and Course Manager that all resourcing is complete prior to the execution of any lesson. The Instructor shall prepare and deliver to each Student a Take Home package for each graduate of the assigned courses. The Instructor shall complete, DA Form 1059s, and a disk with material the Student can use as a reference of the material covered in the course as appropriate. The COR will approve the material that is to be given as a Take Home package. Secondary Instructor Tasks: The POI, lesson plans, and training aids are developed and shall require updates and modifications throughout the term of the task order. When normal course material updates and changes occur, the Instructor shall have 24 hours turn-around time as IAW TRADOC 350-70 and the Systems Approach to Training Basic Course (SATBC) process to conduct the following if applicable. The Instructor shall analyze training materials to ensure instructional techniques are effective and efficient. The Instructor shall ensure training objectives are met through the use of the System Approach to Training (SAT), and train-the-trainer procedures. The Instructor shall apply professional knowledge of educational psychology, learning theory, instructional design, and tests and measurements in developing and or updating compatible and educationally valid training materials. The Instructor shall review and make recommendations to the COR, as needed, for the adoption of new techniques that improve instruction. The Instructor shall ensure newly developed materials are consistent and accurate in content, and that course material are commensurate with available resources. If any discrepancies are noted, the Instructor shall notify the COR. The Instructor shall apply professional knowledge and skills of learning theory, instructional design, tests, and measures to the SAT to update or develop training products. The Instructor shall design and develop objectives, test items, lesson material, lesson plans, and other training material. The Instructor shall review and revise existing training material for inclusion of the latest information available. Any recommended changes or updates shall be provided to the COR for approval. The Instructor shall validate accuracy of instruction prior to implementation. The Instructor shall ensure draft lessons plans are technically correct, complete, and accurate. Instructor shall obtain student critiques within 2 business days of course completion, and/or as requested by the COR. Minimum Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university Served in Army MOS 13A, Field Artillery Officer Previous successful Battery or Company Level Command Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Access Proof of qualified experience can be included from any of the below forms or a combination of the following:DD Form 214 Officer Record Brief (ORB) Official ATRRS Training Transcript Officer Evaluation report (OER) Certificate(s) of Training Course Graduation Diplomas Place of Performance Fort Sill, OK (on-site)
