Position Overview The Senior Level Systems Analyst will provide technical support as a Narrowband Consolidated-SATCOM System Expert (C-SSE) for the Canadian- Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases. This position will require extensive interaction with Canada nationals. Essential Job Function Execute various project management responsibilities to include: Determine objectives; Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan; Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress; Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Develop definitive technical solutions that consider systems architecture, interoperability, interfaces, protocols, networking, expansion potential and overall end-to-end compatibility. Works at senior level to define, integrate, and implement strategic direction for Narrowband programs having long-term effects. Participate as consultant, advisor, or member in various DoD, Joint, and MILDEP planning and working groups. Responsible for the development, preparation and coordination of Narrowband SATCOM and related information systems plans defining concepts, programmatics, and system initiatives. Analyze, evaluate, and recommend solutions to future communications and automation operational challenges. Writes policies, plans and procedures for Canadian access to MUOS capacity. Minimum Qualifications Must have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Department of Defense (DOD) SATCOM. Must have a Bachelor of Science degree or higher Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in SATCOM principles, technical analysis, and problem solving. Must have a TS with SCI eligibility.
