We are hiring for a Quality Engineer internship to join our team! This position will work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday with some Saturdays being required. The position will start in May 2024 and end in July 2024. To be eligible for the internship program, candidates are required to be enrolled at an accredited post-secondary educational institution or have graduated from one within the 6 months prior to the start date of the internship


Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Quality analysis: Perform reviews of new launch parts with support of the existing team
  • Communication: Summarize findings to QA group with data collected to create follow-ups and KPIs.
  • Technical Reporting: Interpret CMM inspection results and transfer into industry standard forms.
  • Support on the root cause analysis of functional topics identified during the manufacturing process of different automated processes/ equipment.
    * Support in the implementation of countermeasures.
    * Perform functional evaluation and inspections of machined components according to engineering specifications.
    * Process improvement: Implement process or product improvements


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

2+ years towards an Engineering/Mathematics/Physics degree from an accredited University

    * Advanced MS Excel skills
    * Strong analytical, problem solving skills
    * Dedicated professional attitude
    * Automotive technical background
    * Minitab.
