Job Summary
UK Libraries Marketing and Graphic Design Interns develop skills in digital marketing and graphic design by helping to create promotional and informational materials, such as signage, flyers, graphics, and digital displays, for various library events, services, and resources. These students also work hands-on with UK Libraries’ website and social media channels, taking on a creative role in the development of a unique collection of written, visual, and multimedia content to help UK Libraries build connections and engagement with UK students and other community members while adhering to the university’s and the library system’s brand standards.

This is a detail-oriented role for students who are imaginative, dedicated to their craft, and willing to learn.

Internships span the academic year and typically begin in August. Students may also begin as early as June 2024. Some assignments will be project-focused, so weekly hours may vary based on deadlines and upcoming library events. Total weekly hours range between 10 and 20.
