Job Details:

Mercer University's School of Law is searching for an Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment.


Responsibilities:

The Associate Director of Admissions and Recruitment will serve as an integral part of the admissions and financial aid team that supports the established strategic enrollment goals for the Law School. The Associate Director will oversee the planning, organizing, executing, and assessing the Law School’s recruitment strategies. The Associate Director will adhere to institutional standards and regulatory mandates. This person will oversee marketing efforts and outreach in coordination with the Communications and Marketing team. The Associate Director will be required to utilize various recruitment customer management tools, such as Unite and Slate, to engage and recruit prospective students and to assess recruitment strategies. The Associate Director will engage in the active recruitment of prospective students from initial contact through matriculation. This person will serve as one of the primary points of contact while cultivating relationships with both external and internal constituents such as high school pipeline counselors, students, Pre-Law Advisors, alumni, faculty, staff, and peers. The Associate Director will work closely with admissions consultants providing data, participating in weekly discussions, and assessing the recruitment process, in addition to providing information to various other internal and external stakeholders. The Associate Director will review and assess applicant files and make recommendations to the faculty admissions committee. Directly reports to the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid.

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree and two years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, or marketing/communications are required.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the university's carrier.
