Are you ready to move in a direction that will help you drive your career path forward? The Moorestown, New Jersey office of SAM, LLC is looking for a Survey Crew Chief.

We are looking for a person that has the drive to advance within a survey organization. Currently, we are doing work in New Jersey, eastern half of Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York. Technology is central to our mission of providing clients with faster, more accurate data. We use the industry’s most advanced technologies in everything we do.

Qualifications

  • Work with crew members to help them move forward with their careers
  • Work closely with the Project Manager in planning an effective field collecting approach
  • Prepare daily reports, time sheets, and other required paperwork
  • Interact professionally with client representative and landowners
  • Procient with documenting work performed and field sketches
  • Prepare daily reports, time sheets, and other required paperwork
  • Communicate daily with Project Manager and technicians regarding project schedule and work progress from that day
  • Oversee the daily eld operations of the survey crew
  • Help to determine the most ecient plan of action for data acquisition for eld surveys ranging from primary control through construction layout and as-built surveys
  • Read and interpret construction drawings/specications
  • Work towards becoming a Field Coordinator to become the person that interacts with all the crews working from the northeast region
