Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Clerk supports the Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations Maintenance Program (ATMP) contract at Fort Cavazos, TX. This position primarily supports MILES.

Job duties include:

  • Perform duties as Shipping and Receiving Clerk for TESS Repair shop.
  • Will be required to collect data for Shipping and Receiving reports and submit accurate reports on a recurring basis, such as work orders, BER reports, loss-damaged reports, etc.
  • Assignment requires an excellent working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, etc.
  • Ensures all equipment is properly documented in AWARE Management Information System (MIS) and IFS programs.
  • Ensures all unserviceable items are properly documented and turned over to the repair shop facility in a timely manner.
  • Ensures returned equipment is documented correctly in AWARE/IFS system and placed back into service.
  • Other tasks performed by Shipping and Receiving Clerk are to package and ship various items for repairs at Depots, participation in 10% inventories, tracking of equipment in and out of repair shop.
  • Will work with other members of supply functions. Adhere to Company, Manager, Section and Team Leader directives, memoranda, policies, and procedures. Supports quality / ISO, security and safety training programs.
  • Safeguards all assigned equipment issued by PULAU Corporation against loss, theft, and damage.
  • Will be cross-trained and may be assigned tasks to support other ATMP contract equipment on the installation.


Job Requirements

  • Two years past experience with Shipping and Receiving work (e.g. receipt and shipping of items, collection and consolidation of data, issue reports generation, shipment, and storage responsibilities of TADSS equipment required to support training) related to depot, local, G3, or other supply activities.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Complete access and input into the ATMP MIS system AWARE.
  • Must be able to acquire a Government Common Access Card (CAC) for access to the installations. High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Must be able to work during inclement weather.
