Lead the Way as a Senior Construction Field Representative!
Are you an experienced construction professional with expertise in Mechanical Piping? We're seeking a Senior Construction Field Representative to oversee Mechanical Piping construction in our food/industrial manufacturing environment. If you're a detail-oriented leader with a passion for ensuring quality workmanship and safety, we want to hear from you!
 

Location: Batavia, OH
Pay Range: 67$-72$
Weekly Schedule: 40 hours, Monday to Friday
Shift: Flexible (may include weekends and 2nd shifts as needed)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily installation activities with construction contractors, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
  • Manage the Extra Work Order (EWO) process, updating and tracking the EWO log.
  • Drive a culture of safety, communication, teamwork, and accountability on-site.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and tests on key areas.
  • Review design vs. installation planning in the field to ensure proper installation and avoid clashes.
  • Maintain critical path schedules and communicate program status to stakeholders.
  • Validate and perform redlines for final as-built documentation.
  • Serve as the day-to-day spokesperson for contractors, plant, engineering, and vendor representatives.
  • Ensure the latest drawings are used and report any discrepancies.
  • Conduct accident report review and approval, focusing on safety protocols.

Basic Qualifications:

Education:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management Institute (PMI), or similar certification preferred.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • CPR Training.
  • Fall Protection certification.

Experience:

  • 5-10 years of Construction Management experience in the field.
  • MUST HAVE: Mechanical Piping construction experience in a food/industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing projects through all phases of construction.

Skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years of software applications experience, including MS Office 365, SharePoint, and BIM360.
  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and walk through a construction site daily.
  • Steel toe shoes required (to be provided by the worker at own expense).
