This is a full time position working at Oro Valley Hospital.Summary:Administers specified evaluations, conducts group programs, and assists in implementing specific treatment programs under the guidance of a Licensed Occupational TherapistThis position will almost exclusively work in our skilled nursing unit (SNU) with occasional opportunities to work in Acute care and / or rehab. Training in all three areas will be done during and after initial orientation. Arizona fingerprint card will be required but can be attained before hiring if not already done.Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements Education: Required: Associate's Degree from an accredited program for occupational therapy assistants.Experience:Preferred: One (1) year of related experience.Skills:Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment; Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented; Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.Licenses/Certifications:Required: Current Az certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) BLS certification.
