How Will You Contribute to the Company? The Senior Consulting Sales Engineer, Security will work closely withcustomers and partners as the primary technical point of contact forSecurity Sales, feedback and resolution of issues and will be thecustomers' advocate for issues that require assistance from the PM/R&Dteam. You will provide feedback to the Product Management team on newfeature requests and product enhancements from your customer base. Heavytravel within the territory is required as necessary to support othercompany-based engagements. This Senior Consulting Sales Engineer, Security will come on boardwith the full support of the executive team
This is an amazing opportunity for the SE who has a history ofcompletely dominating their territory and who wants to make animpact on building the next iconic cloud security company
Work closely with customers and partners as your primary point ofcontact for feedback and resolution of issues and will be thecustomers' advocate for issues that require assistance from thePM/R&D team
Provide feedback to the Product Management team on new featurerequests and product enhancements from your customer base
Heavy travel within the territory is required and as necessary tosupport other company-based engagements
Articulate the high-level benefits of Global Cloud and ZTEdgearchitecture in additional to the entire NCX Platform Portfolio toour target audiences, typically senior security management up toCISO and CIO
Support Directly & Construct best practices for presentations,demos, RFP/RFI Responses, and Proof of Concept/Value exercises aswell as overall win strategy
Take an active role in your region's customer success and helpresolve any customer satisfaction issues, escalating crossfunctionally when needed
Understand the customer need and establish company's product as thebest solution that addresses that customer requirement and providesbusiness value
Gather customer technical requirements
Work and/or Present at trade shows, conferences, and seminars asnecessary
Provide insight on competitive solutions and differentiate betweenthem
Have a Passion for helping customers and delivering satisfactioneven when faced with difficult customers
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Seven (7+) years of relevant experience in a Senior SalesEngineering role with a proven track record and demonstrable skillsat presenting technical information at the business executive levelor at the architect level
Advanced level network technology certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE,CCSP, JNCIE, etc.)
Bachelor's degree; preference for computer science or relateddegrees
Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skillsranging from tech level up to senior executives
Comfortable in public speaking and presenting to both internal andexternal executive audiences
Ability to scale from the whiteboard to working with securityarchitects to influencing CISOs
Demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration andadministration Linux, MacOS, Windows based, iOS and Android systems
Knowledge of certificates, key management systems, HSM and relatedprotocols
Proven hands-on experience with cybersecurity and networkingsolution & technologies including SWG, CASB, ZTNA/VPN, NGFW, IAM,DLP, Data security and writing regex expressions
Experience working with Cloud Identity Providers, SIEM, SOAR, EDRand SD-WAN Deployments and Integrations
Experience working with Public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCIand GCP)
Working knowledge of the broader threat landscape and the ability todistill technology trends, and explain complex behaviors in simpleterms
Experience working in and selling cloud-based technologies (SaaS,IaaS, and PaaS)
Demonstrable experience with scripting languages such as Python, andREST API framework
Prior experience with other vendor Cloud Security solutions isadvantageous
Strong security skills that would include hands-on experience withZscaler, Netskope, Palo Alto, Broadcom, McAfee, Check Point, Ciscoand/or similar
