US LBM seeks a dynamic Division President to propel our Pennsylvania Market to new heights. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to provide strategic leadership and direction across our esteemed brands: Myers Building Product Specialist, Shelly's Building Supply, and Musselman Lumber. The ideal candidate will be based at any of our Pennsylvania locations, ensuring accessibility and connectivity across our expansive operations.

As the Division President, you will spearhead the PA Market sales and operational strategies, prioritizing safety, profitability, cash flow, and operational excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the adoption of best practices, achieving strategic objectives, and upholding performance standards across all locations.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Orchestrates the market's performance to ensure safety, profitability, cash flow, and operational excellence.
  • Champions continuous improvement processes to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and introduce innovative technologies and product lines.
  • Designs and executes a strategic plan to effectively communicate goals, strategies, opportunities, and achievements within the market.
  • Provides decisive leadership and guidance to ensure the dissemination and implementation of best practices, strategic objectives, and performance benchmarks across all locations.
  • Supports the market in sales enhancement initiatives and the improvement of profit margins.
  • Conducts comprehensive reviews and analyses and takes ownership of monthly operational results across all market locations.
  • Oversees the annual budgeting process for the market, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Directs the preparation of strategic three-year business plans to drive sustainable growth and success within the market.
  • Identifies and pursues growth opportunities, including potential acquisitions, Greenfields, and diversified product lines.
  • Leads, nurtures, and mentors the market's management team to foster professional development and drive performance excellence.
  • Promotes an inclusive environment through an open-door policy and effective communication, fostering a culture of mutual respect and camaraderie among associates.
  • Cultivates strategic partnerships with supplier partners within the market to enhance collaboration and optimize business outcomes.
  • Drives succession planning and talent development initiatives within the market to nurture and cultivate a robust talent pipeline.
  • Integrates independent businesses within the market to capitalize on synergies and drive sustainable growth.
  • Acts as a bridge between the market and US LBM initiative owners, fostering a collaborative environment focused on mutual success and shared goals.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Minimum education required - Bachelor's degree in Business field or related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum experience required - 10+ years of experience in a progressively responsible senior management role; organizational management experience required; previous experience managing a multisite organization.
  • Special skills required - 10 + years of knowledge in the building materials industry or related field.
  • Expertise in all aspects of operations, sales, purchasing, analysis, customer relations, and planning.
  • Financial management: leading and directing management teams. Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a change agent, outgoing spokesperson, and relationship builder.
  • Demonstrates a high level of executive presence and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.
  • Physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs. at random, standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time, and bending or stooping.
